On behalf of Council, Staff, and the residents of the Municipality of the County of Antigonish—welcome! Whether you’ve lived here for years, are visiting, or are thinking about making Antigonish your home, we’re excited to share all that makes our community special.

As someone born and raised in Antigonish, I’m incredibly proud to call this place home. It’s an honor to serve as Warden and represent our vibrant community. My wife, Krista, and I chose to raise our daughter, Reid, here because Antigonish County offers the perfect blend of strong community values, natural beauty, and opportunity—creating an exceptional quality of life.

Our region is home to thriving local businesses, great schools, a rich arts and culture scene, and plenty of ways to stay active, from beaches and trails to rinks and recreation programs. We’re committed to sustainability, accessibility, and inclusion, making sure everyone feels welcome and can contribute to our growing community.
