Accessible Antigonish County
The Municipality of the County of Antigonish is committed to building an inclusive community where all residents can fully participate in municipal programs, services, and public spaces.
The Accessibility Plan provides a roadmap for identifying, removing, and preventing barriers that may limit access for persons with disabilities. It reflects Council’s commitment to creating equitable opportunities and ensuring that municipal decision-making considers the diverse needs of our community.
Developed in alignment with provincial accessibility standards and informed by community input, the plan outlines priority actions across key areas such as the built environment, communication, transportation, employment, and service delivery.
