UPDATE for water utility customers who receive water through the Town’s water system (areas adjacent to Town).
As of 12pm on Monday, July 28, 2025, the Town of Antigonish is implementing voluntary water conservation measures.
The continuing hot weather has impacted the water levels at the James River Dam, and there is no significant rainfall projected over the next two weeks. While these are voluntary measures, we strongly encourage all water customers to use water wisely where possible. This includes reducing non-essential water usage such as lawn watering, car washing, and filling pools.
