Approved Operating Budget

The Municipality of the County of Antigonish operates on a fiscal year that runs from April 1 to March 31 of the following calendar year. For each fiscal period, Council adopts both an operating and capital budget, which includes setting all municipal tax rates.

As your municipal government, the Municipality is responsible for managing and investing the tax dollars you contribute in a way that meets community needs and advances Council’s strategic priorities.
