Why have vehicles been towed?
This winter, County crews have faced ongoing challenges keeping roads clear due to vehicles parked in violation of winter parking regulations. When roads are obstructed, it creates safety risks for snow-clearing staff and residents and can result in driveways being blocked.
Over the past several weeks, the County has made multiple efforts to warn and educate residents, including in-person visits, warning notices on vehicles, and repeated reminders during storms. When these measures are ignored, towing becomes the only remaining option. Vehicles are towed at the owner’s expense.
