Payment Options

Please Note:

Late Payment Interest: Property tax bills cover the fiscal year from April 1 to March 31. Taxes not paid by the due date will be charged interest at a rate of 0.5% per month (6% per year) on the outstanding balance until the account is paid in full.

Payment Methods:

• Payment may be made in person, at the Municipal Administration Centre, 285 Beech Hill Road, using Cash, Interac, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cheque or Money Order made payable to the Municipality of the County of Antigonish.
• Payment may be made by mailing a Cheque, Post Dated Cheques or Money Order, made payable to the Municipality of the County of Antigonish, 285 Beech Hill Road, Antigonish NS B2G 0B4.
• Payment may be made by telephone at 902-863-1117, using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
• Payment may be made at most financial institutions and ABM’s, or by using their Telephone on online banking service. Contact your financial institution to see if this service is available. When paying by online banking, please search the payee name associated with your bank below. Please allow 3-5 business days prior to due date for payments to be processed.

Add a payee; search “Antigonish”, choose the appropriate payee from the list above; enter your account number. If paying water, you may have to omit the decimal. For example, if the account number is 123456.00, enter 12345600
