Mandatory Water Conservation Order: Does This Apply to You?

County Water Utility Customers,

To help clear up some of the confusion on who of the County’s water utility customers are under the Town’s Mandatory Water Conservation Order, here is a list of neighbourhoods who would be considered under the Town’s water source. These neighbourhoods/streets include:

-Mt Cameron

-Cloverville Rd

-Arbor Drive Extension area

-Sylvan Valley

-Lochaber Road area including Parkhurst Subdivision and Greenhill Estates

-Church Street Extension

-St Andrews Street, Greenwold, Old South River Road, Williams Point, Silver Birch Estates

-Post Road

-Somers Road

-Townsend Street area

-Thorn Ridge

-Brierly Brook

-Back Road Brierly Brook/Clydesdale

Communities or Neighbourhoods on County owned water utility include residents getting water from the Gaspereaux, St. Andrews & Lower South River and soon, St. Josephs water lines. Residents on these County owned lines do not fall under the Town’s Mandatory Water Restriction Order and are able to use water as normal.

However, with current conditions and extreme dry weather in the future, using water responsibility is recommended.
