We Are Hiring! – Collection Team Member (Vehicle Operator)
(May 11, 2026) – The Municipality of the County of Antigonish is accepting applications to join our Public Works Team, primarily based at our Solid Waste Management Facility.

The Public Works Dept is under the direction of the Director of Public Works. Any hire, as part of a team, will be primarily responsible for the collection of garbage, recycling and organics in the County and have responsibilities for taking care of equipment used, safety and compliance and will be often asked to help in other areas.
The successful applicant for Collection Team Member (vehicle operator) must hold a current Class 3 Drivers License with Air Brake Endorsement, safety awareness and training, an eligible driver abstract and willingness to work in a team.
