Electoral Boundary Review Deferred Until After Municipal Elections

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has proposed that the Municipal Boundary Review be deferred until after the next Municipal Election which will take place in October 2024. The Municipal Election will proceed with status quo boundaries. During Committee of the Whole on Tuesday, April 23, the committee voted to accept the proposal to defer the boundary review.

The public meetings will be cancelled and a new boundary review will take place after the election.

Municipal Council has also voted to proceed with paper ballots for the October 2024 Municipal Election.
