The Municipality of the County of Antigonish is responsible for the maintenance of the roads in the following areas of Antigonish County:

If you are planning any activity/work on the roadway or within the road right-of-way including a driveway or erecting a structure within 100 metres of any municipal road, a permit is required prior to starting the work. A $300.00 refundable deposit is required.
All other public roads/streets in the County are the responsibility of the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal. The Province has created an Operations Contact Centre (OCC) which is operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to take public calls. Follow the link for information on contacting the OCC:
